Vodafone Customer Care India Appellate Authority
- Are you are not satisfied with the resolution of your service by customer care Vodafone India team?
- In addition, would you like to appeal (escalate) the issue to a senior authority whose primary job is to resolve customer issues?
We recommend you to reach out to appellate authority.
Please note, this is a big escalation and thus there are certain protocols that need to be followed if you want to appeal to the authority.
The appeals can be filed both by calling the authority and by writing an email to the officer.
You can also send a fax with details about your problem and other relevant documents to get your query resolved.
Please note that this is not a toll free number so there is a high probability that the number comes busy.
We recommend sending out an email with relevant details to the authority and then following up with a call rather than completely depending on the latter.
Process to file an appeal to the Appellate Authority
- Firstly, a previous customer care request is a must to go to appellate.
- In other words please ensure that you reach out to the customer care team first and record your ticket number somewhere.
- We tend to delete messages carrying our ticket number.
- Do not do that. We recommend to keep the resolution ticket number for long time. Above all, it comes handy when someone wants it as a reference.
- Secondly, reach out to the appellate authority on channel of your choice – Email, Phone, Fax. Numbers and name of the authority are provided in the table below.
- Quote your customer care number and your mobile number in all your communications.
- After that, the appellate request should be filed within 30 days of the expiry of complaint / request resolution time limit specified by the Vodafone team.
- For example, if you raise a complaint and the complaint is supposed to get resolved by 31th of August, you can raise a request only till 30th September.
- Appellate requests beyond this time will not be looked into.
- You need to provide your complaint docket number to the authority.
- This is needed to get the complete history of your problems and interactions with the customer care team.
- You will get another docket number from the appellate post they review your appeal.
- This, alongwith your expected resolution time will be sent to you over an SMS.
- After you file a request, the current SLA from Vodafone to resolve your request is 39 days.
- So you can expect your request to be resolved within 39 days of raising it.
